Ok, the best for me has always been the Swiss Army knife. I guess it's hard to break with family tradition... _________________ Michael Joshua

| One of Benchmade's Axis locks. You can pick from several steels in lots of sizes and profiles. |

I own Spyderco and SOG folding knives. I'm happy with them both meaning I would cry if I dropped one off the boat but not that much.
SOG has a few different opening methods and locks on their folders.
Just a note: As far as I'm concerned SOG has the best multi-tools around and there are lots of good ones. One thing I really like is the ability to change individual tools in the multi-tool. I own two and would replace them if necessary.
I've recently been looking at Cold Steel products. In their magazine they are very proud of their products and it seems they would be ashamed to be involved with their compeditors (I'm paraphrasing, not quoting). They also have a free DVD on displaying all of their products. VERY impressive. Available at coldsteel.com.
I would be interested in anyone who will demonstrate their folding knives to the extent that Cold Steel does. There may be some that I've never seen.
I'm still looking for the best and would appreciate any opinion. _________________ I don't need a knife I'm afraid to get scratched. |
