I like carring a knive with where ever I go but taking a fixed blade to church or anywhere other than a sportings good store is obviasly socaly unaceptible, so I bought one of those china made folders with the black nylon handels. But among my group of freinds we like to clip our folders to the out side of our pockets and well the black nylon dosn't draw that much attenchion among my freinds stainless and rose wood handeled counterparts. Can anyone sugest a nice folder (in the 3-5" range) that holds a edge well but still looks cool . Thanks |

There are hundreds of good blades out there that work well as an EDC.
My favorite was been the Spyderco blades they are damned sharp right out of the box and are tough as hell.
I also like the CTRC blades they have tons of patterns. You are sure to find one you like. Of course you also have Schrade and Many others The list goes on. Find something you like from a whell known name and you'll do well. You also won't find a good knife for 20 bucks with any of these companies but I've always been a big believer in that you get what you pay for. _________________ Macabee

Wayne is a knife making God. Thruthfuly Wayne is one of the greats in the knife making industry. I recomend his book the $50 Knife Shop to all begginers.
Check out this article from the Oregon Knif Club about the Goddard Spyderco knives hope it helps.
